Dr. Chang is a Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of National Taiwan Ocean University. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science from University of Maryland at College Park, USA in 1995. She then worked as a full-time/affiliated professor in several universities in Taiwan, including Providence University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and National Taipei University. She is having more than 20 Years of experience in the field of databases. Her Area of Expertise includes: heterogeneous databases, XML query processing, bioinformatics, mobile and spatial databases. She has published many papers in prestigious conferences/journals, such as CIKM, DASFAA, DEXA, and SIGMOD Record, and is a co-author of two text books. She has also received many grants from National Science Council and teaching/research awards from National Taiwan Ocean University.

Jose Maria Luna received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Granada, Spain, in 2014. Since 2009, he has been with the Department of Computer Science and Numerical Analysis, at the University of Cordoba, Spain, where he is currently working in some research tasks, including the use of bio-inspired algorithms for data mining, association rule mining and its applications. Niusvel Acosta-Mendoza is a Researcher in the Data Mining Department at the Advanced Technologies Application Center (CENATAV). In addition, he taught several undergraduate courses in University of Informatics Sciences (UCI) of Havana. Also, he is reviewer for several papers in journals with impact factor (JCR) such as: Knowledge-Based Systems, and International Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, among others. He received his MSc. Degree in Computational Sciences at the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE) of Mexico in 2013. He also performs Ph.D. studies in Computational Sciences at INAOE of Mexico. Then worked as a Researcher in CENATAV for 5 years. He is having 9 years of Experience in the field of Computational Sciences. His Area of Expertise includes: Data mining, and frequent pattern mining and association analysis in graph-based context. He is the author of several scientific papers, recipient of 5 awards including best paper awards and best scientific and technological results, among others.

Dr. Arup Kumar Pal Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad Jharkhand. He received his Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, India, 2011.

Dr. Chuan-Ming Liu is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT), TAIWAN. He received his Ph. D. in Computer Sciences from Purdue University in 2002 and B.S. and M.S. degrees both in Applied Mathematics from National Chung-Hsing University, Taiwan, in 1992 and 1994, respectively. He is a member of Upsilon Pi Epsilon Honor Society in Computer Science since 1998. His research interests include parallel and distributed computation, data management and data dissemination in different wireless environments, ad hoc and sensor networks, and analysis and design of algorithms.

Dr. Jenq-Haur Wang is an associate professor in Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech), Taiwan. He received his BS and Ph.D. degrees from Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Taiwan University (NTU), Taiwan, in 1994 and 2002, respectively. During Oct. 2002 and Feb. 2007, Dr. Wang conducted his postdoctoral research in Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taiwan, under the supervision of Dr. Lee-Feng Chien. His research interests include social Web mining, knowledge discovery, network and information security, peer-to-peer (P2P) retrieval, and big data analytics.

Dr. Ruchika Malhotra is an assistant professor at the Department of Software Engineering, Delhi Technological University (formerly as Delhi College of Engineering), Delhi, India. She was an assistant professor at the University School of Information Technology, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India. She received her master’s and doctorate degree in software engineering from the University School of Information Technology, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India. She is executive editor of Software Engineering: An International Journal. She is coauthor of a book on Object Oriented Software Engineering published by PHI Learning. She has received IBM Faculty Award 2013. Dr. Sebastián Ventura is (associate) Professor of Computer Sciences and Artificial Intelligence in the University of Córdoba.
