Dr. Roohi Zaman is a Reader in the Department of Ilmul Saidla (Unani Pharmacy) at National Institute of Unani Medicine Bangalore. She received her MD. Degree in Ilmul Advia from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore Karnataka in 2008, worked as a Lecturer / Asst professor in Govt Unani Medical college Bangalore for 10 years then joined National institute of Unani Medicine as Reader since 04 Years, She is having 28 Years of Experience 14 years as Unani Physician in Govt of Karnataka, 14 years Teaching experience in UG and PG Dept, Her area of Expertise includes: Drug development and innovation of Unani dosage forms, Unani Cosmetology She is the author of ” Arts and science of Kushtasazi” and Co author of “Unani Therapeutic Index” published by Dept of AYUSH, Govt of Karnataka.

Dr. Ajai Kr. Pandey is a Assistant Professor (SGr.) in the Kayachikitsa Department of Faculty of Ayurveda, Institute of Medical Sciences at the University of Banaras Hindu University. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Department of Kayachikitsa on the topic entitled as “A Clinical Study on Certain Diabetic Complications under the Influence of Naimittika Rasāyana Therapy (with special reference to Niśāmalakī and Śilājatu)” from Banaras Hindu University in 2012 and earned his postdoctoral from university of …Banaras Hindu University. Then worked as a Assistant Professor in Department of Kayachikitsa, Faculty of Ayurveda, IMS, Banaras Hindu University for 7 (sven) Years. He is having 11 Years of Experience in the field of UG, PG & PhD Teaching, training and Research in Ayurveda. His Area of Expertise includes: Internal Medicine, Yoga & Yogic Sciences, Prediabetes/ Diabetes mellitus/Metabolic syndrome and obesity. He is the author of 4 (four) books on Ayurveda Chikitsa, recipient of Prof.U.A. Asrani Gold Medal in Yoga Diploma-2003 from Banaras Hindu University.

Dr. Sangeetha Pillai is working as Assistant professor of the department of Modern Medicine at National Institute of Siddha, Chennai. She has completed MBBS in 2006 from Kakatiya Medical College,Warangal. She was a gold medalist in her post graduation of Chest Medicine. She has been awarded the best paper presentation for her extensive work in H1N1 infuenza virus. She has completed 6 yrs of UG and 4yrs of PG teaching experience. She has 10 yrs of clinical experience ranging from general medicine to pulmonology and critical care.

Dr. Shahid Shah Chaudhary is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ilmul Saidla (Unani Pharmacy) at Faculty of Unani Medicine, Jamia Hamdard (Hamdard University), New Delhi. Previously he served as Clinical Registrar and Assistant Professor at Majeedia Unani Hospital, New Delhi and AIUMC, U.P respectively. His background in Unani Medicine includes a BUMS degree in 2009 and a MD (Ilmul Saidla) in 2013 from Delhi University and National Institute of Unani Medicine, RGUHS respectively. So far he has 20 published papers in various Indexed and Peer reviewed National & International Journals. He delivered several professional presentations at regional and national conferences. He is the Co-author of a Book entitled “The Dynamics of Calcination”. His area of expertise includes: Unani compound formulation, Standardization and Dosage form conversion, Stability studies and Anti-microbial studies. He has also consulted to some private Unani Pharmaceutical Companies on drug manufacturing and quality control issues.

Dr. Shaikh Mohammad Sirajuddin Hashmuddin is working as H.O.D. in Department of Jild wa Tazeeniyat at Z.V.M. Unani Medical College and Hospital, Pune. He received MD degree in Moalijat from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. He is having UG teaching experience of 6 years and 10 months. He has 6 published papers in various Peer reviewed National Journals. Presented 10 papers in national and international conferences.

Dr. Ejaz Parvez Shaikh is working as Associate Professor in Department of Tahaffuzi-wa-Samaji Tib (Preventive & Social Medicine) at Z.V.M. Unani Medical College and Hospital, Pune. He received MD degree in Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib from University of Mumbai, Mumbai. He is having UG and PG teaching experience journals.
