Biography

Dr. Priyavart Thareja is working as a Professor in the Rayat & Bahra Institute of Engineering & Technology, Chandigarh, India. He is a Metallurgical Teacher/ Engineer, alive to Societal Dimensions which are depicted in Priyavrat’s work, projects undertaken, creative endeavors including Poems. His Area of Expertise includes multiple disciplines like Education, Teaching, Humanity Skills, Engineering, Management, Environment Study etc. He is the Author of many Books, Articles/Thoughts, Prayers, Quotations etc; and recipient of many Grants and Awards.

Dr. H.S. Virk is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of SGGS World University, Fatehgarh Sahib (Punjab), India. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Nuclear Physics from Marie Curie University, Paris in 1972 and earned his postdoctoral experience from more than a dozen universities of Europe and Asia. Then worked as an Assoc. Professor in Punjabi University, Patiala, and Professor and Head of Physics Department in Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar for 23Years. He is having 40 Years of Experience and his Area of Expertise includes: Particle Physics, Geochronology, Heavy Ion Radiation Effects in Materials, Eathquake Prediction and Radon/Thoron Studies in Environment; and Nanotechnology. He is the author of 360 Research Papers and 28 Books, and has completed 18 Major Research Projects funded by UGC, CSIR, BARC, DST, etc.

Dr. Aditya Saxena is Fellow Special Projects (Physics) in the Institute of Life Long Learning, University of Delhi. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Physics with his thesis entitled “Ground State Properties Of Bose-Einstein Condensate Of Different Assemblies Of Gaseous Bosonic Atoms Confined In An Anisotropic And Isotropic Magnetic Trap In The Presence Of Two-Body And Three-Body Interactions” from Department of Physics and Astrophysics, University of Delhi in 2005. He joined Department of Physics, Ramjas College, University of Delhi as Assistant Professor in July 2004 and served over there contributing not only to the Academic life but also the Corporate life of the College. He was the Coordinator for Short-Term Add-on course in Forensic Science for three years between 2005-2008. Then in September 2010, he joined as Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Deshbandhu College at the University of Delhi. He worked over there till October 2012 where apart from his Academic responsibilities he served as Convener and Coordinator of several important Committees like the Admissions, Workload and Planning Committee, Placement Cell, etc. He is having 11 Years of Experience in the field of Physics and Electronics Education. His Area of Expertise includes Solid State and Condensed Matter Physics where he has published more than 15 research papers in refereed international journals. His areas of research include Bose-Einstein Condensation, Dynamics of Graphite, Graphene and Carbon nanotubes. He is presently Principal Investigator for the Innovation Project of University of Delhi entitled “A Study of Crop Yield pattern with Climate Change based on various Physical Parameters like Temperature, Rainfall, Humidity, Greenhouse Gases Emission, etc. in Western Uttar Pradesh to make future predictions for better Crop Management and Yield” and Mentoring another Innovation Project of University of Delhi entitled “Generation of electrical energy by non-conventional methods to operate low power devices”. He has to his credit one chapter entitled “Dynamics of carbon in different layers of graphite” in the edited book Disordered Materials, (Narosa, India, 2003). He has presented research papers in thirteen International and National Conferences and Seminars. He is the recipient of Senior Research Fellowship, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, January 2002.

Dr. Harimohan Sharma is a Professor in the Department of Hindi at the University of Delhi. He received his Ph.D.Degree in Hindi from Delhi University in 1984 He worked as a Assistant Professor and later on as Associate Professor in Hindi in R L A college Delhi University,Delhi for 27 years and now working as Professor and Head Of the Hindi Department ,University of Delhi Delhi . He is having 41 Years of wast Teaching Experience in the field of teaching language,literature and culture in India and abroad. His area of Expertise includes: language ,literature teaching and translation of literary texts in to Hindi. He is the author of more than 10 books and 150 articles recipient of Grants, awards etc.

Jipsy Malhotra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education, Amity University of Education, Noida. Her areas of interest include Science Education, Educational Technology, Educational Psychology. She has published many papers in peer-reviewed National and International Journals.

Dr. Pratima Sarangi is an Assistant Professor in Sri Sri University, Cuttack, Orissa, India. She undertakes the subjects Good Governance, Fundamentals of Public Administration, Public Sector Organisational Behaviour, Governance and Policy Labs. Her educational qualification includes Ph.D- (Public Administration), (Utkal University, Bhubaneswar), MBA-(Human Resource Management); (Pondicherry University, Pondicherry), M.Phil-(Public Administration), (Utkal University, Bhubaneswar), MA- (Public Administration), (Utkal University, Bhubaneswar), MA-Political Science and Political sociology (Utkal University, Bhubaneswar), BA- Political Science and Psychology (Utkal University, Bhubaneswar). Her other interests includes reading articles, news, TV, cricket etc. She has contributed many papers for publications at various levels.

Prof. Shakuntala Punjani is a Professor, in the Department of Sanskrit, University of Delhi, Delhi, India since 2007. Her career profile comprises of Teaching Certificate and Diploma classes in the Department. Since 1982 as ad-hoc basis taught in different colleges from 1988 to 1991. She taught B.A. and M.A. classes in SOL and Non-collegiate Education from 1984 to 2008. Alongwith taught History- M.Phil classes 1991 to 2012; U.G.C. Associated from 1983 to 1988and was a Research Scientist from 1990 to 2007. Her areas of research interest include Indian Philosophy, Literature, Indian Culture and civilization and Religions. Subjects taught by her include Upanisads, Yoga and Vedanta Philosophy, Sanskrit Prose Texts, Poetry Texts, Dramas and Philosophical Texts. Dr. Shekhar Chandra Joshi received his Ph. D. Degree in 1991 from Garhwal University and his D.Litt from Kumaun University in 2011. In 1980, he received his Diploma in AMT from Lucknow University. He is having 30 Years of Experience in the field of Fine Arts. His Area of Expertise includes; History of Far Eastern and Asian Art, Indian Art, Folk and Tribal Art of Himalayas, Korean Art, Art and Conservation, Ragamala Paintings, History of Modern Art, Philosophy of Art, Comparative Study of Art, Study of Visual Arts and culture. In Practical –Water/Oil/Tempera/acrylic/Mixed Media paintings. Ragamala paintings, Miniature Paintings, Digital Paintings, Newly developed Figurative and Non figurative work with Self Fingers Nails and Colour on Paper/ canvas on related theme with man, nature, society and fantasy. Recipient of prestigious International fellowship of Korea Foundation, Seoul; research grants of Department of Culture, Government of India and the University Grants Commission; honors of ‘Agnipath Kala Rattan Samman’, ‘Award of DPS’ ‘Mohan Upreti Lok Sanskriti Kala avem Vigyan Sodh Samiti’, American Biographical Institute, Inc.; and Uttaranchal Kala Samman etc. has to his credit numerous publications that include books on ‘Adhunik Chitrakala Ka Itihas’ by PBD Publication, ‘Kala ke Sidhhant avem Chitrakala ke Rang’ and ‘Korea ki Kala’ by Almora Book Depot; ‘Art And Communication’ by Indian Publishers Distributors, monograph on ‘Fantasy of Raga’, ‘All India Annual Art Exhibition’ etc. and research papers in journal along with several articles on art, culture and society including original paintings in the news papers And Magazines in India and abroad. Regarding his practical work he said “My work represents the total experience of 50 years of observing nature, society and spirit in paint after a detailed study of the World Art History exploring in Figurative & Non Figurative work with Self Fingers Nail Drawing & Water/Acrylic/Oil Colors Paintings on paper/ canvas and paper on canvas”. He has held many Solo Shows in India and abroad including France participated in many Group Shows at Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and other places. He has invited to attend National Artist Camp organized by Lalit Kala Academy, IFACS, NZCC and many others. He has participated in seminars, conferences and workshop in India and abroad including Australia, Korea, France, Austria and Canada etc. Besides self solo and group shows he has curetted some important exhibition for the Uttarakhand Artist Welfare Association in association with Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi; Punjabi University, Patiala; and Kumaun University, Nainital. His critically acclaimed works have been exhibited in India and abroad and published in various reputed collection.
