Design and Analysis of Bidirectional Charger

Abstract

On-board bidirectional battery charger is an important component in a plug-in vehicle having vehicle-to-grid (V2G) capability. Battery charger topologies are generally categorized under the two main categories of single-stage and two-stages. Every category has its own advantages and disadvantages. This paper attempts to make a review of the existing bidirectional battery charger topologies.
