Quark Degree of Freedom in the Binding Energy Difference of 14 Λ C~14 Λ N

Abstract

Invoking quark degrees of freedom in the nuclei, the six-quark bag formation effect contributes significantly to the binding energy difference of the mirror pair of p-shell hypernuclei 14 Λ C~14 Λ N, in the hybrid quark model. The six-quark cluster formation effect increases the binding of A-hyperon in neutron rich partner 14 Λ Ccompared to that of its proton rich partner 14 Λ N.
