Theoretical and Experimental Analysis of Wind Flow on Buildings Arranged for Pressure Recovery
Resumen
The flow past buildings at higher speeds result in low static pressure that causes uncomfortable breathing for personal moving around in the vicinity. A new arrangement of buildings in a multiple building environment is suggested and analysed that results in pressure recovery by cancelling the vertical flows from two directions. Wind Tunnel models are fabricated and tested in a subsonic open test section wind tunnel. Numerical analysis is done for comparison of results using ANSYS. The findings are very encouraging.
