Abstract

This paper is concerned with anti-synchronization of Vallis system (talks about fluctuations of temperature in western and eastern parts of near-equatorial area of the ocean). Sliding mode control is proposed to achieve the proposed anti-synchronization. A proportional integral switching surface is devised with appropriate control law and reduction of chattering is considered as well. Simulation results are given for verification and effectiveness of the proposed scheme. Simulation results reveal that the proposed scheme is working satisfactorily.Keywords: Anti-synchronization, vallis chaotic system, proportional integral control, sliding mode control
