Abstract

In today’s fast pacing era, time has become an important asset for the people. Day by day, the population is also growing, resulting in increasing number of vehicles. There are traffic jams on roads and highways due to traffic congestion, climatic conditions etc., which result in wastage of time as well as fuel. So, keeping that thing in mind we are proposing a system based on IoT (Internet of Things) which will help people save their time and fuel. The system will basically aim to make the present roads and highways smart with the help of IoT sensor based technology which will be subjected to help people in getting notifications on their android application of the current situation or scenario between a particular source and destination on the highway. The situation or scenario is based on climatic conditions as well as accidents or traffic jams. Cite this ArticleHalvadia Palak K, Parekh Sunny V,Pathan Ayesha A et al.
