Resumo

Inpainting is the measure of reconstructing damaged parts of images. The main goal of inpainting is to remove unwanted objects from images and fill this region with the background. At first a part of the input image is inpainted by a non-parametric patch sampling. The inpainted part of the input image allows reducing the computational complexity and less sensitive to noise. The advantage is it is easier to inpaint low resolution images than high-resolution images. In this paper a review of various techniques used for image inpainting is provided. Using this, one can recover small regions and remove noise. To the low-resolution image inpainted, a single-image super-resolution is used to resume lost areas. Keywords: Image inpainting, texture synthesis, image processing, examplar based, object removal Cite this Article:Imtiyaz Md., Kumar Abhay, Sreenivasulu G.
