Resumé

This paper deals with the development of prediction model for injection moulding machineusing Taguchi. In this work, all the process parameters namely filling time (FT), refill time(RFT), tonnage time (TT) and ejector retraction time (ERT) are modeled using Taguchimethod. PVC (polyvinylchloride) taken as process material in this experimental work underoptimal working conditions. The influence of filling time (FT), refill time (RFT), tonnage time(TT) and ejector retraction time (ERT) on cycle time (CT) is examined in the process. Theexperimented result is examined through ANOVA.
