Abstract

In this paper the design of a microstrip antenna (MSA) with corrugated dielectric reflector is proposed to improve the front-to-back ratio (FBR) and reduce the back lobes in radiation pattern of the antenna. The designed antenna operates at 5.8 GHz and simulated on CSTMWS'10 software. Simulation results show that proposed antenna has 21.8 dB higher FBR than that of conventional MSA.Keywords: Microstrip antenna (MSA), front-to-back ratio (FBR), corrugated reflector, grooves, partial ground.Cite this Article: Singh B.
