Abstrakt

Existing work proposed a new and practical approach of tuning of a controller in a closed-loop process plant. The approach is a direct tuning method, termed as Extended Fictitious Reference Iterative Tuning (E-FRIT). Now, we propose to generate the reference model from the closed-loop data, where the order of the reference model is decided based on the process dynamics of the closed-loop data. That makes the model maximum possible fit on the actual data. This is applicable to both proportional integral derivative (PID) and I-PD controller tuning. The application of this E-FRIT method is presented with a continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) case study. Also, a comparative study has been done on the models developed using closed-loop data & models assumed as first-order plus time delay system (FOPTD) or second-order plus time delay system (SOPTD).Keywords: E-FRIT, PID parameters, I-PD parameters, optimization, CSTR

This digital data is then sent with the help of wires to the microcontroller. The job of Level Converter is to transfer the received data from the sensors into the PC with the help of parallel communication COM Port. The project aimed at developing VB6 based software which can display the data (Voltage values) of all channels in real time. Further graphical and many more analysis on the stored data can also be performed later on interactively.   Dissertation Title Optimization of Kc - A Tuning Parameter of PPID Controller Organization Pseudo PID controller is tuned using the Self tuning strategy by RLS algorithm. The PPID controller tuning is done for the damped pendulum by the above method. The PPID controller tuning shows acceptable results. The above is the first part of the report. Direct tuning of PID controller by E-FRIT method is done. The E-FRIT is used for the I-PD controller tuning. Improvement occurs in control performance, in terms of overshoot and settling time, due to the generation of reference model from the closed loop data. This is the second part of the report. The Pseudo PID controller and the E-FRIT with PID and I-PD controller were applied to the same four transfer functions and the results were found to be improved as compared to the existing techniques.   Workshop Attended Title DCS, PLC, SCADA & Field Instrumentation Organization RASHTRIYA CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERSLIMITED, Chembur, Mumbai Duration 14th March'11 - 16th March'11   Training Undergone Title Process Instrumentation Basics at Technical Skill Development Centre, Kalwa Works Organization Siemens Duration 30th June'10 - 2nd July'10   Title NI Lab View and Multi Sim Organization National Instruments, Bangalore and Department of Instrumentation, V.E.SI.T Duration 9th July'12 - 13th July'12   Paper Presentation "Optimization of PID and I-PD parameters by Direct Tuning method" at International Technological conference - I-Tech Con-2014 Extra Curricular Activities Expertise in playing 'Tabla'.
