Аннотация

Dual sudden expansion polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microchannels have been fabricated by the maskless lithography, hot embossing lithography, direct bonding technique, and atmospheric pressure air dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma processing. The surface-driven capillary flow of dyed water is faster on the processed PMMA surface than the pristine PMMA surface. The surface-driven capillary flow of dyed water is slower in the wider portion of any dual sudden expansion microchannel. This experimental demonstration is highly useful to fabricate the microfluidic lab-on-a-chip systems.Cite this ArticleSubhadeep Mukhopadhyay.
