Abstract

The development of light weight metal matrix composite (MMC) based on aluminium matrix reinforced with Cu/Sic/Graphite has been discussed in the present paper. It has emerged as an important class of materials, finding increasing applications in automotive parts, aero-space and structural applications. The present work emphasizes on developed aluminium metal matrix composite (AMMC) material in stir casting route. The fabricated composites are tested for their tensile property. The result shows that composite have higher tensile strength than AA6082.Cite this Article Shashank Agrawal, Dinesh Kumar Kasdekar, Sharad Agrawal.
