Abstract title: Comparison of effectiveness of Bitter gourd juice and Bottle gourd juice on blood sugar level and urine sugar level indiabetes mellitus patients.

Abstract

Bitter gourd juice can be recommended for diabetic patients along with their routine allopathic medication, which will reduce the cost of medication as Bitter gourd is readily available and is cheaper than allopathic medication. Control in blood sugar level will also help in delayinglong term complications associated of diabetes.However, more extensive and detailed studies are required. Significant decrease (163.5 mg% (mean) from 200mg% with SD 6mg%) in blood sugar level in Bitter gourd juice group was observed as compared to control group and Bottle gourd juice group.
