A Survey: A Low EMI Approach to Electronic Circuit Design
Nøgleord:
EMC, EMI, radiation, noiseResumé
This paper describes techniques to meet national and International standards in the area of electromagnetic interference (EMI) which are becoming very important for users and equipment manufacturers of electrical/electronic equipment. EMI sources are identified & classified into either natural or manmade. Normal sources of EMI are further classified as terrestrial, emanating on or near the Earth’s surface or non terrestrial, emanating from cosmic or solar bodies. Techniques to reduce EMI created by above sources are described and contribution of each has been analyzed. This results in a systematic design approach for low EMI circuit design.Downloads
