Abstract

The menace of SPM is more pronounced in domestic environments of rural folk who burn cheaper/low-grade fuels for cooking and heating. To counter the threats, a low-cost device has been designed and developed which has the power to trap substantial contaminants. It is a charged wire mesh which works concurrently as a filter mesh to refine the indoor environments by interrupting SPM.
