Productivity improvement is the need of current market and manufacturing sector globally. For producing different products, power press machine is a vital component of the manufacturing sector. In this review paper, author aims to study the various stresses developed in the crankshaft of the various machines employing the crankshaft. The model of the desired crankshaft was prepared in CREO and further analysis was performed in ANSYS software. The results of this analysis were then compared to the analytical results calculated theoretically. The comparative results suggested that FEM is a reliable and accurate method for design and analysis purpose. Cite this Article Vijay Makawana, Patel RC, Vaghela MB.
