Abstract

This article deals with janus (two-faced) molecules/biomolecules from different scientific fields. Examples selected include simple to complex molecules/biomolecules. Janus spheres, particles, nanoparticles, homocysteine, two codon in genetics, alcohol, nitric oxide, cholesterol, various drugs, proteins, enzymes, cannabinoid, ethylene glycol, two-faced membranes, membrane lipids, bile acids, two-faced bacteria, antibiotics, cancer genes, serotonin, reactive oxygen species, metallic copper surfaces, carbon nanotubes, polypharmacy, etc., are included.
