Résumé

This study was conducted on 20 patients with ameloblastoma, attending the department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Meenakshi Ammal Dental College, Chennai. After determining the presence of bone involvement in conventional radiographs, the patient was subjected to spiral CT in axial, coronal and saggital sections and 3D reconstruction was also done. Using the software provided, shaded surface 3D reconstruction of the images was made and the 3D findings were recorded. The findings were compared with the histopathological diagnosis and preoperative findings. Frequency percentage was used to determine the statistical significance
