Effect of Seaweed Extracts Mediated Changes in Leaf Area and Pigment Concentration in Soybean under Salt Stress Condition
Schlagwörter:
Seaweed liquid fertilizer, soybean (Glycine max L. Merr.), growth, yield, pigment concentrationAbstract
In the present investigation, an attempt has been made to study the effect of SLF from Sargassum wightii and Ulva lactuca with or without chemical fertilizer on seed germination, growth, yield, pigment content and soil profile of Soybean (Glycine max L. Merr.). The seed germination, growth and yield parameters such as shoot length, root length, number of lateral roots, number of leaves, photosynthetic pigment concentration such as chlorophyll “a”, chlorophyll “b”, and total chlorophyll was found to be maximum at 1% concentration of SLF with or without NaCl salt. Hence, the present study found that 1% SLF with or without NaCl salt shows the higher growth, yield, chlorophyll pigment and soil profile compared to other concentration.Zusätzliche Dateien
