This paper proposes an effective solution based on TOPSIS approach to determine the optimal process parameters in die sinking electrical discharge machining. Taguchi L9 orthogonal array is used to gather information regarding the process with less number of experimental runs. Experiments have been conducted using three process parameters such as peak current, gap voltage, pulse on time, with three levels are selected to optimize the multiple objectives. AISI 316 stainless steel as a work-piece material and copper as electrode material used for the experiments are arranged on the electrical discharge machine for the research work in order to develop the optimal condition of the response parameters MRR and TWRCite this Article Madhavi Pathak, Manoj Kumar Gaur, Sharad Agrawal.
