Synthesis and Characterization of Terbium Doped Strontium Aluminate Nanophosphor
Abstract
Luminescence investigations of Tb activated strontium aluminate phosphors prepared using the sol-gel method are described. The phosphor has been characterized by powder X-ray diffraction scanning electron microscope. Optical properties were studied by photoluminescence spectra. Photoluminescence studies of the prepared phosphors showed prominent IR emission, apart from near-band edge emission and green emission.
