Wasteland Management and Quality of Ground Water in Swarnamukhi River Basin, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh: A Case Study

Abstract


The present study, the identification and development of wastelands in Swarnamukhi basin in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, is based on primary survey of wastelands. In this study, the main stress is on the different reclamation and utilization methods to use wastelands, which are of complex in nature. It is a novel experiment. It is not just a study of the problem, which closes with suggestions and recommendations but represents the economics of the wasteland development.
