Biography

Dr. A. S. N. Chakravarthy received Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Computer Science & Engineering from Bangalore University, Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science & Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University. He has been awarded as “BEST PROFESSOR” by Association of Scientists, Developers and Faculties, India. He has been nominated for Young Scientist of India award & Young Engineer of India award. He is an Infosys and IBM trained faculty having good academic experience and research knowledge. He is member of almost 25 National and International professional organizations including IEEE, ACM, CSI, ISTE, IEI, IETE, CRSI, ISCA etc.; he has chaired 03 International Conferences and given 10 invited talks at various National & International Conferences. He has authored two books and published 50 scientific papers in various International Journals and Conference proceedings. He is Reviewer of 10 International Journals like IEEE, IGI, Springer etc., Editor of 05 international Journals, Editorial board member of 15 International Journals. He has been the Technical Program Committee member for 10 International conferences. His research area includes Data Security, Password Authentication, Cyber Security Cloud Privacy and Digital Forensics. He is the Chief Technology Officer (off shore) of Basha Research Corporation (BRCORP), Japan. Presently he is working as Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in JNTUK University College of Engineering Vizianagaram.

Dr. Tabrez Ahmad received his doctorate in IPR and Cyber Law from AMU Aligarh. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in science, a Bachelor’s degree in law and a Master’s degree in Commercial Law and Cyber law. Prior to his joining University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, CoLS as a Professor & Associate Director he was the Professor and Director at Alliance University, Bangalore. He was also a mentor at IPR KIIT-TBI, NSTEDB & Depts. of Science Technology Govt. of India. He was also the Founder Director, DILS, and the founding faculty of KIIT & NUJS. He was the visiting faculty and taught Cyber law & IPR in the Biju Pattanaik State Police Academy, Bhubaneswar, Orissa and Judicial Academy & State Institute of Public Administration & Rural Development (SIPARD) Govt. of Tripura. On invitation of BPRD Govt. of India, he had the opportunity to train senior police officers in the areas of Cyber law and IPR. He is a prolific speaker and spoke at several occasions on the invitation of CII, ASSOCHAM etc. He has also practiced for a while at the bar of Delhi High Court and Supreme Court of India. He has around 15 years of rich & extensive experience in teaching, research, general administration, strategic and educational planning and student relations in the academic sector. As an eminent researcher, he has authored a pioneering book entitled "Cyber Law, E-commerce and M-commerce", and published more than 70 papers in national and international offline & online journals and also participated extensively in national/international seminars and conferences. He is the member of various national and international associations and also on the editorial board and reviewer/referee of various national & International journals including, JIPR and JPL etc. to name a few. He is a famous blogger and his Blog Technolex india is internationally recognized. As per the New York based online Journal of ssrn.com current rankings in the world he is rated as rank 119th out of Top 3000 Law Authors in the World.

Dr. B. Murali Manohar is a Senior Professor - VIT Business School, V I T University. Completed the Visiting Professor assignment for six months (Oct 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012) at CMIS, University of Cologne, Germany sponsored by DAAD. Completed successfully the UNDP assignment for a period of 2 years- employed by Ministry of Education, Govt. of Ethiopia.at Debub University, Awassa, Ethiopia during 2003-05 Secured the Ph. D in E-Commerce from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati during December 2008. Having 2 years of Industrial experience and more than 20 years of teaching experience both at UG and PG level Management Programs. Secured recognition from the employers as Best Executive / Best Teacher in the past. Received Fellowship from Rotary Int, U S A to visit East Yorkshire, U K during April – June 2000 as a part of the Group Study Exchange program to study the culture and profession. Carried out successfully research / consultancy assignments in the past. Successfully presented more than 25 papers in various National and International Conferences. Authored 3 management cases in the past few years and published more than 25 papers in International and nationally reputed (referred) journals/periodicals and edited volumes in India and abroad. Reviewed 3 Management books and published the same in the Review Projector a special journal devoted for review of books in India. Two research scholars have completed their Ph. D under the guidance the academic year 2012-13 and five more Ph. D scholars are pursuing their research.

Dr. Devisetti Prabhakara Rao is a Professor for the Department Of Commerce & Management Studies in College Of Arts & Commerce Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

Dr. Shih is a Professor at the National Central University, Taiwan. He was the Dean of College of Computer Science, Asia University, Taiwan and the Department Chair of the CSIE Department at Tamkang University, Taiwan. Dr. Shih is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). In addition, he is a senior member of ACM and a senior member of IEEE. Dr. Shih also joined the Educational Activities Board of the Computer Society. Dr. Shih has edited many books and published over 450 papers and book chapters, as well as participated in many international academic activities, including the organization of more than 60 international conferences. He was the founder and co-editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Distance Education Technologies, published by the Idea Group Publishing, USA. Dr. Shih is an associate editor of the ACM Transactions on Internet Technology and an associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies. He was also an associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Multimedia. Dr. Shih has received many research awards, including research awards from National Science Council of Taiwan, IIAS research award from Germany, HSSS award from Greece, Brandon Hall award from USA, and several best paper awards from international conferences. Dr. Shih has been invited to give more than 30 keynote speeches and plenary talks in international conferences, as well as tutorials in IEEE ICME 2001 and 2006, and ACM Multimedia 2002 and 2007.

Dr. Francesco Zirilli got his degrees from University di Roma La Sapienza: dottore degree in Mathematics in 1971 and dottore degree in Physics in 1972. Francesco Zirilli worked as a research scientist in Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa, Italy), Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences (New York), Rockfeller University (New York), Harvard University (Cambridge, Mass.). He has been several times visiting professor in Rice University (Houston, Texas). ln ltaly he has been a professor in University di Camerino, Università di Catania, Università di Salerno. He is currently professor at University di Roma La Sapienza. Full professor since 1981. He has been principal investigator in contracts granted from several organizations including: United States Army, United States Air Force, N.A.T.O., ltalian Space Agency. He has a wide experience in consulting in the industrial and service sectors. Francesco Zirilli is a research scientist whose interests are concentrated in applied mathematics and in the solution of problems in science and engineering through mathematical modeling. Francesco Zirilli serves in the editorial boards of several scientific journals including: Journal of Optimization Theory and its Applications, Journal of Global Optimization, Optimization Letters, Waves in Random and CompIex Media, Modern Economy, Communications and Networks. Francesco Zirilli is the author or coauthor of about 180 papers published in refereed journals and books.

Dr. Lotfi A. Zadeh joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, in 1959, and served as its chairman from 1963 to 1968. Earlier, he was a member of the electrical engineering faculty at Columbia University. In 1956, he was a visiting member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey. In addition, he held a number of other visiting appointments, among them a visiting professorship in Electrical Engineering at MIT in 1962 and 1968; a visiting scientist appointment at IBM Research Laboratory, San Jose, CA, in 1968, 1973, and 1977; and visiting scholar appointments at the AI Center, SRI International, in 1981, and at the Center for the Study of Language and Information, Stanford University, in 1987-1988. Currently he is a Professor in the Graduate School, and is serving as the Director of BISC (Berkeley Initiative in Soft Computing).
